1. Schedule the food drive and delivery date

It’s important to schedule your food drive on our calendar so we can ensure a steady supply of food for the Food Pantry. Our goal is to schedule food drives each month throughout the year to keep our pantry shelves full.

The delivery date is important, too. Depending on the amount of food collected, we may need to schedule extra volunteers to help unload and process the food. (Schools may arrange to have their food picked up by volunteers.)

2. Publicize the food drive and use the resources in our Food Drive Tool Kit.

4. Count, Sort and Fill Out Form

Count and sort the collected food items, and fill out a Food Delivery Form.
Tip: If available, copy paper boxes are the ideal size to hold and transport food.

5. Deliver Food to HCCM Food Pantry

Don’t forget to schedule a delivery date and time to deliver your collected food to HCCM and bring your completed Food Delivery Form.
