Founded in 1983, Hill Country Community Ministries is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation, a coalition of churches assisted by area businesses, civic organizations, service clubs and concerned individuals that provides food, clothing and financial assistance for people in crisis and those living in poverty in southwest Williamson and northwest Travis counties. Our goal is to serve our clients with dignity and compassion in an atmosphere of neighbor helping neighbor.

HCCM operates a Food Pantry and a Clothes Closet, and provides financial assistance for rent, utilities, medical and dental needs, and prescriptions. Additional assistance includes school supplies and new shoes for children, Thanksgiving food boxes, blankets, heaters and fans.

Mission Statement

We are people of faith cooperating in the love of Christ and neighbor to help those in need.

Core Values

  • Serving Christ by serving all people.
  • Dignifying the process of serving those in need.
  • Cooperating with churches, organizations and communities.
  • Respecting one another as we serve together.
  • Advocating on behalf of the powerless.
Vision Statement

We envision a future where Hill Country Community Ministries is the coordinator of choice for local church involvement personally impacting the health and welfare of under-resourced families and individuals. Responding to our neighbors in the Hill Country area, our ultimate goal is to break the grip of hardship and hopelessness.
